Regulator makes steady progress on POPI Act
The POPI Act regulations will be tabled before Parliament by the end of the year (2017). Establishing the Information Regulator was one of the conditions set out in POPIA. The Information Regulator functions in accordance with the Act and the Promotion of Access to Information Act.
